A UK research carried out by WikiJob in 2009 showed that persons consider a number of factors when choosing a jobs. The findings revealed that the most important factor when choosing a job was career progression and not pay which received the second highest votes. The other factors identified (in descending order) were training, job security, working hours and corporate social responsibility. The percentages for each factor is illustrated on the graph below. Some persons would argue that this finding is a bit out dated and isnt Jamaican based. My question to you therefore is: What is the most important factor to you when choosing a Job ? |
